Another profession you can choose while playing Farming Simulator 25 is chicken farming. Poultry farming focuses on feeding chickens and roosters to increase their numbers and produce eggs. With FS25, you can start this business with a very low investment.

Building a Chicken Coop

You will need a chicken coop that fits your budget for poultry farming. The number of animals that can be housed will vary depending on the farm building you set up and the customizable pasture area.

To set up a chicken farm, open the store by pressing the "P" key and go to the Construction section under the Others tab. Under the Livestock category, select any building in the Chickens option and place it on your land.

What Does a Chicken Farm Need?

A chicken farm only requires grain to feed the animals. Grain can be purchased from the store or obtained by planting and harvesting wheat, barley, or sorghum. Chicken farms do not require water.

Producing and Selling Chickens

Since chickens only need grain, they achieve 100% productivity when their food requirements are met. This allows you to increase their numbers quickly.

A minimum 6-month-old chicken will produce chicks after 2 more months. Roosters are not required for chickens to reproduce in the game. However, you can still place roosters to enhance the visual and atmospheric feel of the chicken coop. All chicks grow into chickens; roosters do not reproduce, and chicks cannot turn into roosters.

Egg Production

The primary source of income in poultry farming is eggs. You can sell eggs daily at sales points or use them in production. Some manufacturing processes in the bakery building require eggs. You can utilize the eggs produced on your chicken farm to meet this demand.

Transporting Eggs

Eggs are placed on pallets. To lift these pallets, you need a forklift or a tractor with a front loader attachment. A pickup truck and a pallet trailer are also very useful for loading and transporting pallets.

How to Sell Chickens?

To buy or sell chickens, approach the Animal Paw sign at the chicken farm and press the "R" key. Here, you can sell the chickens in your farm or purchase new livestock.
